Christian Ed Director Judy Zanin


Judy is working towards her Masters in Divinity at Colgate Rochester Crozier Divinity School. She lives in the Village of Palmyra where she is an active member of her community. Her church leadership experience includes Sunday School Superintendent, Choir Director, Lay Servant, and Liturgist. Judy holds an MFA in Drama from Syracuse University. Judy is a proud mother to teenage son Nate and wife to husband, Rob. As a family, they love to go on trips to historic places or on outdoor adventures. Judy loves everything theater including using her training and skills to transform CSUMC during Vacation Bible School. Judy is thrilled to be in her CSUMC position and is ready to devote her love and guidance in God's Word to her new church family.

    Living a Christian life does not come automatically. It comes through study, worship, and learning together. Sunday school is a beginning for children and youth. Sunday school is also essential for adults!  The lessons of Christian education make it possible for us to practice love and to live as children of God.





Men's Group

A weekly discussion of the Bible, reflecting on topics and issues in today's world. Class meets Sundays at 9:45 AM in the conference room off the GRACE Center. All men are welcome join the group at any time!


Safe Sanctuaries Training

Safe Sanctuaries training is mandated by the Upper New York Annual Conference for all employees and volunteers working with children, youth and vulnerable adults. The training is offered periodically at Clifton Springs UMC and in other churches in the conference. A background check must be authorized. To continue in ministry, an annual orientation is required for anyone who completed the training. Persons must be associated with the CSUMC for a period of 6 months or more to work as a volunteer. Other stipulations apply and can be seen in the current conference policy located at
